This book is a fascinating study of the Skirvin Hotel in Downtown Oklahoma City. The history of the Skirvin hotel, which has seen many illustrious visitors from celebrities to presidents, is so enmeshed with Oklahoma City's own history that a story about the Skirvin must inevitably also be about Oklahoma City and the people who live there.
