Piggy Nation: A Day at Work with Dad Richard Rosser is on a mission to rid the world of piggy behavior. Whether it’s leaving the toilet seat up or texting while driving, Rosser says it’s time for Piggy Nation to stop the rudeness. After all, it just isn’t kosher.
The Oklahoma City native is the author of “Piggy Nation A Day at Work with Dad,” a spirited children’s book that takes aim at piggy behavior. He will sign copies of it at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, at Full Circle.
Rosser, who has worked on children’s programs for Nickelodeon and The Disney Channel, began his anti-piggy crusade after he saw a motorist steal a parking space from his mother-in-law. Enough is enough, he proclaimed. Teaming up with illustrator Shane Sowell, whose credits include TV’s “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill,” Rosser created the concept of Piggy Nation.
In “A Day at Work with Dad,” a piglet named Sammy joins his dad on a day of Piggy Patrol.
